When there’s a project at Rosalie Bay, we’re always pleasantly surprised by our guests, visitors and island friends who are eager to lend a helping hand.
Bus Stop
Instead of simply adding a coat of fresh paint to our bus stop, our volunteers enhanced the building with bright colors and intricate designs. A group from New Hampshire spent a week completing community service projects in Dominica, and they largely contributed to this colorful wonder!
Riverside Wall
After weathering Tropical Storm Erika in August 2015, we are also delighted to share that our riverside wall has been completely restored. After the reconstruction period, children from local schools helped brighten the concrete with their creativity! The kids loved showing off their artistic talent, and projects like these also help develop life skills and teamwork in Dominica’s future leaders.
