Re-Certified by Green Globe

We’re pleased to share with you recognition for our continued commitment to responsible, sustainable tourism.  Green Globe, the global certification for sustainable tourism, has recently re-certified Rosalie Bay Resort. Certified members must meet all the requirements of the Green Globe Certification Standard and actively contribute “to a better future for the people and places you visit.”

GG_CERTIFIED_RGB_SmallIn order to receive certification, hotels must undergo annual onsite audits and obtain a compliance of at least 51%. Plus, certified members must improve 3% year-over-year to be re-certified.

Our eco-boutique resort remains the only Green Globe certified resort on Dominica.

This year’s recognition is a reflection of our continuous efforts in using renewable energy, protecting sea turtles, hiring and training local Dominicans, and our use of renewable and recycled materials.

In fact, we recently launched a resort-wide recycling program, which is one of the first for resorts on island. We enjoy taking care of our island home and love that our guests partner with us in this commitment.
