Check-in and Check-out times

Check-in time is 3 pm and check-out time is 12 noon.

Payment and deposits

We welcome MasterCard, Visa and American Express as forms of payment. Upon arrival, a credit card is needed as deposit against incidental charges. Personal checks are not accepted.

A two-night deposit is required at the time of booking.

Additional persons

A US$40 fee will be charged for an extra person in a room or suite. The maximum per room is three adults.

Children

Please notify the resort at the time of booking if an infant will be staying and if a crib is needed. Parents are responsible for the care, entertainment and safety of their children at all times. Rosalie Bay Resort does not claim that it is able to ensure children’s safety while on property or during any of the Rosalie Bay organized tours. Many tours are strenuous and may not be suitable for small children.

Proof of citizenship/Visa requirements

Passports are required for US citizens and foreign nationals to visit Dominica. Visitors from some countries may require a Visa. Guests are responsible for determining necessary paperwork and obtaining proper entry documentation. No refunds will be granted for denied entry caused by failure to carry proper proof of citizenship or the appropriate Visa. For a current list of entry requirements visit www.discoverdominica.com.

Insurance

Rosalie Bay Resort strongly encourages all guests to purchase medical, accident, luggage and emergency trip cancellation insurance. The US Reservations Office can assist you with travel insurance quotes and information.

Cancellations and refunds

As a small hotel, cancellations affect us significantly. For no shows and cancellations within 45 days prior to arrival, your two-night deposit will be forfeited as a cancellation fee. If you reschedule your reservation within 12 months, your deposit will be applied to your next stay. We strongly recommend that you take insurance against trip interruption and the possibility of cancellation fees.

Hurricane guarantee

Dominica is just one island within the vast Caribbean Sea. While the region does experience hurricane activity in the fall, the chances of one hitting our island and affecting your vacation are quite small. Should a hurricane hit Dominica, or come close enough to cause a disruption in air service to the island, we will issue credits, move dates and do everything we can to ensure you are satisfied.
