Standing atop a hill in Rosalie overlooking the lush mountainous beauty and stunning Atlantic coastline of Dominica, Beverly dreamed of creating a resort that would both seamlessly blend in with its surroundings and provide a steady source of employment for members of the local community. So enchanted with her vision, shortly thereafter, she purchased 22 acres of land located in the heart of Rosalie. On this land she would build her dream: Rosalie Bay - A Nature Resort.

Rosalie Bay's mission is threefold

Rosalie Bay believes that it has a responsibility to use its resources to improve the local environment and well-being of the local residents. In keeping with its mission, the owners of Rosalie Bay have preserved both the environment and the natural beauty of its surroundings, while creating a vacation experience where guests feel safe, relaxed and at peace with nature and the local community. Dozens of people were hired from nearby villages to build the resort. Many of these individuals will also be employed by the resort once it opens for business in the new year of 2010
